How long are court-ordered programs?
Program length depends on the referral requirements and clinical assessment. Most structured programs range from 8 to 15 weeks. Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) may meet 2–3 times per week depending on need.
What happens if someone misses a session?
Attendance is important for compliance and progress. If a session is missed, clients are encouraged to communicate as soon as possible. More than three (3) sessions missed may constintue participant starts group over or it prolongs the group sessions. Documentaiton from appointmst is requested if participatns wants them to be excused. Documentation of attendance and participation may be shared with the court when authorized through a signed Release of Information.
Will the court receive updates?
Yes, when a Release of Information (ROI) is signed, we provide professional documentation including attendance verification, progress summaries when appropriate, and completion certificates.
Is this just about compliance?
Compliance is important. But our goal is long-term stability, not just program completion. We focus on skill-building, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention so change can continue beyond court involvement. Mistakes are made, relapse (slips) happen during recovery. Its how they proceed that makes the difference.
